COW, or Cows Of War's beginnings lie with Team Fortress Classic (Hλlf-Life), a game we competed in with other clans. I personally only joined the clan at the end of this particular era, so I never got the chance to get a feel for the game.
Righ after it came out, we added Day of Defeat (HL), although we never played any competitions. The same goes for Battlefield 1942. I personally only played the Wake Island demo, never bought the full version. Partially because of Unreal Tournament 2003 and later Unreal Tournament 2004 we stopped playing both mods. We played a little bit of Unreal II - XMP, but that game didn't become as popular as we had hoped, and before we really got the hang of it we just stopped playing that as well.
The clan has been inactive for a long time, but then a number of members picked up Day of Defeat: Source, and the clan is recruiting new members again. More recently Call of Duty 4 was added to the games, and COW currently competes in wars for these two games.
